What is a lyre harp?
The lyre is a string instrument known for its use in classical Greek antiquity and later periods. The lyre is similar in appearance to a small harp but with distinct differences. The fundamental difference between a lyre and a harp is that in a harp, the strings enter directly into the hollow body of the instrument, whereas, on a lyre, the strings pass over a bridge, which transmits the vibrations of the strings to the body of the instrument – just as on a modern guitar.
In addition, most of the traditional harps use nylon strings, whereas lyre usually uses steel strings. In terms of timbre, the lyre still has a harp’s ethereal and long-lasting tone, but it sounds more ancient with a deeper Medieval tone. The sound of steel strings adds a mysterious and unique beauty to this instrument.

We send extra tuning tools, spare strings, and tuning tutorials. If you accidentally damage the strings while tuning, Or the strings may have oxidation phenomenon, you can replace them with the complimentary set of spare strings
Please use the tuning hammer to tune according to the tuning software:
The environment for tuning should be quieter because the software is very sensitive and any sound will be picked up by the software.
It is recommended to play a note multiple times to be recognized, and the one with the most occurrences should be used
Using the tuning software app:
[Instrument Tuner] Select [Calibration] and first pluck the strings. The software will automatically recognize it
If the sound is too low, use a tuning wrench to turn it clockwise; If the pitch is too high, use a tuning wrench to turn counterclockwise.

Lyra is exactly as in the description in fact a bit brighter than in my picture, you have to be quite careful when tuning me one string broke right away, but it was my fault. The harp arrived in the best condition! It was packaged carefully with all the necessary stuff like a tuner, a guide book, and number stickers. There is literally no complains. They’ve also shipped this in five days, despite the date saying it will arrive in two weeks, so that’s great.
